Sierra Helvey is a painter who grew up in Los Angeles. She has lived and worked globally.
Sierra says, “I see meaning in the landscape. It is full of the voices speaking in motion of form and texture. And like moving textures –, light and dark, natural and surreal, elegant and messy. My works are energetic expressions of how I feel in the world.”

“This piece addresses simple acts of kindness; their manifestation and effect–the importance and dignity of all stages of life, and how all things are connected. This concept and behavior is so often neglected in modern American society and is a part of the disconnect that creates homelessness.”
